Looking to upgrade my current hitch. I just bought a Curt Weight Distribution Shank - 1,500 lbs TW Item # 17120 Im interested in Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System w/ 4-Point Sway Control tow vehicle 2002 Dodge 2500 cummins 4wd trailer 2011 Octane ZX Floorplan T26Y WEIGHTS Unloaded Vehicle Weight lbs. 6,940 Dry Hitch Weight lbs. 1,010 Gross Vehicle Weight lbs. 10,900 Cargo Carrying Capacity 3960 Questions Is this shank acceptable for the equalizer? part # for the thin wall socket? Part # for nylon liners for quieting the hitch Part # for an appropriatly sized equalizer WD systen with 4 point sway control? Thank you

Equalizer and Curt weight distribution systems both fit the same shank design so the Equal-i-zer kit you are considering will fit on the Curt shank.

So for a kit with 4-point sway control that would be rated the best for your trailer that has a dry tongue weight of 1,010 lbs you'd want the part # EQ37141ET which does not come with a shank as you'd be using the shank you already have. This has a tongue weight range of 1,000 to 1,400 lbs. Then for a thin walled socket to install the hitch ball you'd want the part # ALL643216 and you'd be set.
