LED Strip Light to Install on Top of Gooseneck Trailer with Running Lights and Turn Signals

Question:

I have a 6 wire gooseneck horse trailer. 2002 Silverado w/ 7 blade socket. I use an adapter to connect them. I want to add LED strip lighting along the upper side of the trailer. I would like those lights to be on when the headlights are on...but also flash when I use the turn signal. Can this be done? If so how?

What you'd need is a tailgate style LED strip light like the Universal LED Tailgate Fire Strip Brake, Tail and Turn Lights # TLB-001 as it's designed for what you are wanting but normally installs below a tailgate. It could attach to the top of a horse trailer though.

You could cut off the 4-way of this light and hardwire it to your trailer lighting or you could install a 4-way on your trailer with the # 18252 and simply just plug this into it.
