Troubleshooting Jensen Stereo # AWM970 Where CD Player and Amp Stop Working
Question:
Hi I’m asking for a friend who lives in Bancroft, Ontario. They have an AMW 970. The CD player and Audio amp will not work. Is there a fuse they can check?

Have them try cutting all of the power to the stereo for a few minutes and then reconnecting it to see if a hard reset fixes the problem. Sometimes you can get lucky with that but otherwise what you described would call for a replacement of the stereo since it is most likely damaged. That specific model that you mentioned from Jensen was known for having problems ejecting CDs along with other issues so most likely it's time for a new one.
For your replacement stereo, I recommend the Jensen Stereo -AM/FM - CD/DVD - USB - Bluetooth # JWM60A that you referenced. This essentially is the upgraded version of the AWM970 you mentioned. I attached a review video for more info on this as well.
