No Power To Touch Pad On Lippert Ground Control 3.0 Electric 5th Wheel RV Leveling System
Question:
I have a 2015 Jayco Eagle premier with the 3.0 Lippert 6 point leveling sys. I have no power to the touch pad control panel. I have the error beep and was told to reset the sys and to print out the 43 pg manual on how to do that. how and where do I find that manual? Or, if you can advice me of other options that would be appreciated. I was just told it could be low battery. Thank you

I have attached the owner's manual for the Lippert Ground Control 3.0 Electric 5th Wheel RV Leveling System part # LC675817 to this answer page for you. The one we have on file does not have 43 pages and I am not familiar with one that does. However, in order to reset the system you will simply unplug the touch pad, leave it unplugged for a bit, and then plug it back in. If this does not work then you can perform the following:
The first thing you will need to do is obtain a multimeter. Once you have this then you will need to use the ground probe (black handle) and place that on the green wire coming from the back of the harness and then use the power probe (red handle) and place that on the black wire coming from the back of the harness. You should read 12 volts but if you do not have 12 volts you will need to trace this wire back while checking for shorts. It will be a good idea to check the batteries to make sure they are fully charged at this time as well.
If you get 12 volts at the back of the control panel you are then going to want to check the communication signal. In order to do this you will want to use the ground probe and place that on the yellow wire and then place the power probe on the red wire. You should see between 5-7 volts here. If you do then you will need to replace the control panel with the Replacement Control Panel for Lippert Components Leveling System part # LC421484. If you do not then most likely the control board will need replaced.
Since you have the Lippert Ground Control 3.0 Electric Fifth Wheel RV Leveling System part # LC675817, you will need to use the Replacement Control Module for Lippert Ground Control 3.0 Electric 5th Wheel RV Leveling System part # LC346005.
