4-Bike Platform Rack Recommendation that Can Swing Away for Rear Vehicle Cargo Access
Question:
Just recently a few of the bike rack manufacturers released pivoting hitch adapters that can be used with platform bike racks so we have just what you are looking for! The best adapter is then the Yakima Backswing part # Y02483. You also referenced the Kuat NV 2.0 part # NV22G which is a really great 2 bike rack. Some consider to be the best so for a 4 bike version we have the part # NV22B-NA22B which is a fantastic option that will work great for your 4 bikes and with the Backswing adapter. I agree totally with you that for the safest and most secure way to transport bikes platform racks win. Especially ones like this that only touch the bikes by the tire and there's also no risk of the bikes bumping into each other either. I attached a review video for the NV as well as for the Backswing for you to check out as well.
