Troubleshooting 12V Voltage to Brake Controller on 2007 Chevy Silverado
Question:
Plugged in adapter wiring wiring harness to socket 2nd from left. Not getting constant voltage to controller. Getting voltage when brakes are applied. Fuses are good. What am I missing?

On your 2007 Chevy Silverado there are a couple connections under the hood that need to be made after plugging in the Prodigy P2 Brake Controller # 90885 with the Adapter Harness # 3015-P you mentioned.
There are two wires under the hood - one is for the 12V power wire to the brake controller (which is why you aren't getting the required voltage) and one for the 12V power circuit to the 7-Way connector at the bumper. Both wires are red/black and they will already have eyelets attached.
The eyelets on the wires are different sizes and both will connect to the threaded studs under the gray handle at the front of the fuse box. I have attached an image to assist.
