Can the Global Link Entry Door Latch Kit 295-000019 Be Used To Replace the Fastec TTL-44610-200 Lock

Question:

We have a 2016 patriot 26dbh travel trailer. One lock recently replaced by previous owner with global link TTL-44610-2006 lock. How does this lock compare. They look the same in dimensions but not wanting to order the wrong one. I would like to get two replacement locks so we can have both doors Keyed alike.

I spoke with Global Link and they informed me that the TTL-44610-200 is made by Fastec and it has a different cutout than the Global Link RV Entry Door Locking Latch Kit part # 295-000019. I don't have any information as to what size cutout is needed for the Fastec lock but I can confirm the Global Link lock will work on your 2016 Forest River Patriot 26DBH so long as the cutout does not exceed 3" wide x 4" tall.

If you select the "keyed alike" option on the product page for the Global Link RV Entry Door Locking Latch Kit that will then ensure you get two with the same key.
