Rear Axle Air Springs for 2013 Ford F-150 FX4 Super Crew
Question:
I have a 2013 F150 FX4 super crew with a 6” lift. Sag is bad when towing. Will AL57200 work with a spacer? If not what options do I have to prevent sag? Thanks

A rear axle air spring kit will help offset the sag you're experiencing in your lifted FX4 when you tow. You will most likely need a 6-inch spacer to install the AirLift kit # AL57200 you referenced but you can refer to the linked diagram to confirm. For a 6-inch spacer use # F2375.
I strongly recommend you also use a compressor with your install, part # AL25592. Without an on-board compressor it is tough to find the air pressure sweet spot for your towing load. You have to pull over and add or release air from both springs. Having a compressor means you do not have to pull off the road at all for pressure adjustments and you can adjust pressure up and down until you have found the ideal point for any given trailer load and road conditions. A compressor will truly enhance your investment in air springs.
