Troubleshooting Trailer Wiring that Works with One Vehicle But Not Other
Question:
Hello, I just wired my boat trailer last night, tested it with a 2016 F150 all lights work fine. When I plug it into my 2004 sierra, only the back driver side blinker on the trailer works. Ive tried a new 4 way adapter but it does the same thing. Some one told me I might have to put a resistor on the trailer tail lights, but I cant find any video where they instal the lights and need the resistor

First thing I would check is the pins on the Sierra's trailer wiring connector. Most likely there's dirt or corrosion there that's preventing the connection from being made. Cleaning this off with sandpaper will be your best option.
