Bike Rack Recommendation for 2003 Honda Odyssey and 2009 Honda CR-V for Hatch Access
Question:
Hello, I am considering buying either a Kuat NV or Thule T2. Do you know how I can figure out if either/both will work with both vehicles? I want to ensure that I will be able to open the tailgates of both vehicles with bikes attached via the tilt-down feature of both racks. Thanks in advance,

I believe I have a solution for you that will give you access to the rear of your 2003 Honda Odyssey and 2009 Honda CR-V. However, I cannot say for certain if the Kuat NV or the Thule T2 would work for you since it would be very difficult to know for sure with all of the unknown variables.
Check out the Yakima SwingDaddy 4 Bike Rack # Y02422. This rack swings out of the way completely, and should work on both of your vehicles giving you plenty of clearance. Check out the review video I attached that shows this rack in action.
I also attached installation instructions for you to check out.
If you plan on carrying womens or alternative framed bikes you may also be interested in purchasing a Yakima Tube Top Bike Adapter Bar # Y02531. I attached a review video and installation instructions for this product for you to check out also.
