Installing Replacement Rear Right Leg on Lippert Ground Control 3.0 System

Question:

Hello, I need to replace this part I broke backing up and I have some questions. I have the Ground Control 3.0 4 points. The one I need to replace is the passenger side rv door side. Is this the right or left leg? I think is the right, just double checking. I have a torque wrench and impact wrench, Whats the recommend torque I need for this installation? Is this part plug nplay or do I need to configure anything on the screen after I install it? Thank you,

Helpful Expert Reply:

Yes, the Replacement Right Rear Leg # LC344792 is the correct unit to replace the rear passenger side jack on your Lippert Ground Control 3.0 System.

I reached out to my contact at Lippert and he said there aren't any specific torque specs that need to be followed when installing the replacement. The bolts can just be tightened with a 19 mm socket and wrench. This will indeed be a plug-and-play installation with regards to the wiring but you will need to reset the system's Zero Point as outlined in the instructions manual once the new leg is in place (see attached image). If you don't reset the Zero Point you will get a system error during operation.
