Easy To Install Brake Controller for 2017 Ram Promaster
Question:
Refer me to a video of installation of Tekonsha brake controller #5535 and its connections to ETBC7 7 and 4 way installation kit on above vehicle. If no video, please tell me how to do this. Access to even viewing the brake stoplight hot and cold wires is still a mystery to me.

Hardwiring a brake controller to your 2017 Ram ProMaster 2500 is going to be challenging especially since you don't have a 4-way at this time either. I have a much easier solution though that you will really like. If you instead go with the Curt Echo Mobile brake controller # C51180 you'll only to run one single wire after installing the 4-way which makes life much easier. Basically this plugs into a 7-way with an active 12 volt power circuit and gives you a proportional brake controller that does not require any hardwiring beyond that as it syncs to your smartphone and uses trailer wiring to get the stoplight circuit needed.
So all you need is to install the custom fit 4-way kit part # C56209 which I attached an install video for, the # ETBC7L which basically just plugs into the 4-way and then requires a power wire ran to the vehicle battery and you're set.
