Trailer Dome Lights Not Working
Question:
We have a Ford 250 SuperDuty prewired with a 7 pole trailer hookup. We have just purchased a 7 x 14 tandem axle United trailer with electric brakes. The dome lights dont work. We are installng a Ford specific brake controller. Will that enable the dome lights? From what I read, it is independent from the lights and work the electric brakes only???? If so, suggestion on the dome lights?

As long as everything is hooked up properly, your dome lights should be working. Use a circuit tester to test the wires going into your 7-way plug at the back of your vehicle. You can also check the fuse box to see if you have blown any fuses.
