How to Order Replacement Key for Yakima Bike Rack
Question:
How do I get a replacement key
asked by: Charlie M
Expert Reply:
We do have replacement Yakima keys available but you will first need to determine what key number the lock core on your bike rack accepts. The key number is engraved onto the key itself but if you have lost it and don't know the number you can also check the lock core.
In order to locate the engraved number you will need to first remove the lock core using the Change Key # Y8007835. The key number is then stamped onto the side of the core.
Once you find this number simply let me know or type it into our search box to bring up the matching key. For example if you find "A133" engraved onto the lock core you would just need the Replacement Key # Y8772-A133.
