Angle of Cables of Valterra Waste Valve Bodies w/ Flexible Cables

Question:

I would like to change my gate valves to cable operation. I have a storage door within 4 foot of the valves so I think it is doable. The black valve is pointing directly to the storage floor so that is not an issue. I am trying to make my life easier as the 1.5 inch grey valve is literally inside of the rear tire. The problem is the handle is pointed straight down which has always been difficult. Question is can the cable release be pointing straight down but be pulled from a 90 degree direction? Or, can the valve be shifted to a 45 degree direction to put less stress on the cable? Thank you.

I believe I understand what you are asking and while the handle of the Valterra Waste Valve Bodies w/ Flexible Cables for RV Black Water and Gray Water Tanks - 72" # TC1372 can be pointed down, and it is capable of a 90 degree angle, the cable needs to have a minimum of 6" of straight cable exiting the valve and handle, as you can see by the cut out of the instructions I added for you.
