What To Do with Damaged Recovery Tow Strap
Question:
We have a couple of the heavy duty tow straps...and have used them ALOT this spring because of difficult planting conditions on our farm. Now the end loops need repaired. Do you do repairs there or can you suggest where we can get those resewn/attached? Thank you!

Most people will say that if you damage a tow strap you really just need to replace the entire thing as it was obviously stressed to the point of failure and would likely fail again if fixed. I would not recommend attempting to repair what looks like a tow strap that's seen quite a bit of stress. Instead I'd recommend replacing it with a strap like our Erickson Recovery Strap w/ Reinforced Loop Ends # EM59808 which has a 62,500 lb capacity.
