Should I Keep My Normal Exhaust Tips Or Use A Resonated Tip
Question:
Hi, I did a custom exhaust setup which is 3” catless resonated Vibrant downpipe, 2,5” piping to tip using magnaflow perforated muffler and 3” normal tips. Love the sound with it’s low deep tone and no drone. I was wondering about resonated tips on how they sound like with my setup. Would a resonated tip sound better than a normal tip with this setup? Kindly advise

A resonated tip like part # PM-5104 is basically a hollow tube that allows air to vibrate inside of it and makes your exhaust louder. It could cause your current exhaust set up to sound slightly louder but you probably won't notice much of a difference. If you like the way your exhaust system sounds now, I recommend to use a normal tip.
