Can Viper RV Sewer Hose Be Stored in the Trailer Bumper?
Question:
I am replacing the sewer hose that came with our Jayco Hummingbird, which can be stored in the bumper. One of the reviewers mentioned that he cannot store his in his bumper. Which hose do I need to order so that I can store it in my bumper?

Expert Reply:
The Viper RV Sewer Hose - Gray - TPE - 2' # D04-0402 measures 13 inches when compressed and has a lug to lug measurement of 4-1/4 inches which will fit in most standard bumpers but I recommend measuring since the spacing puts the lugs in the corners where there is more room. If you are replacing your sewer hose, you will want a longer hose than 2 feet, so I recommend the Viper RV Sewer Hose Kit w/ Swivel Fittings and 4-in-1 Clear Adapter - (2) 10' Long Hoses # D04-0475 which will have the same measurements except for length and will fit most bumpers. The elbow is the only part that will need a separate storage.
