Is Trailer License Plate and Trailer Running Light on Same Circuit
Question:
The running lights on my trailer work after I changed a 20amp fuse. The only thing that didn’t come back on is the light that lights up the license plate. Would this be a different fuse that might of went out as well? Thank you!

The license plate light is on the same circuit as the running light circuit. If the fuse blew most likely it was related to a short or an over draw on the circuit which may have had something to do with the license plate light. I'd check the wiring that runs to the license plate light to see if you can find a short like cut or exposed wire and fix as needed.
I attached a couple help articles on trailer wiring for you to check out as well.
