I do have a solution for you to use the same style of base plate kit but the Base Plate Kit # RM-521448-5 that you referenced is not a fit. Instead you need the Kit # 1429-3 (won't fit with optional Mopar skid plate) if you have the standard factory bumper or the Kit # 1430-3 if you have a Mopar/Warn bumper. If you have a different bumper then let me know and I can help you find a solution.

To complete your flat towing setup you also need a tow bar, safety cables, vehicle tow bar wiring, a supplemental braking system, and possibly a high-low adapter. For a tow bar I highly recommend the Roadmaster Nighthawk All Terrain # RM-676 because it has non-binding arms that make hookup easier and it comes with safety cables and an umbilical for wiring. Then to complete the wiring use the Combo Kit # RM-9284-2 which note only comes with all of the wiring components that you need but it also has locks for the tow bar and storage bags. It looks like you need to disconnect your battery to flat tow so I recommend using the Quick Battery Disconnect # RM-766 to speed up the process.

The braking system that I recommend using is the Brake Buddy Select 3 # HM39524 because it is a lightweight, portable system that is not only easy to operate but it also is easily transferred between vehicles if you choose to flat tow another vehicle. This comes with everything you need for the installation and can be powered either by an active 12V accessory outlet or AA batteries.

Most flat towing setups require a high-low adapter for the tow bar to remain level while towing. I have linked our selection of adapters for you to check out as well as an article that will help you determine which is the best one for your application.
