How to Play Cassette Tapes with Jensen RV Stereo

Question:

We have a number of cassette tapes that we played on radio/ tape player in our old RV. We have since purchased a new RV with a modern JWM70A AM/FM Radio. Is there a component that I can get that will connect to the new radio and play a cassette tape.

There are ways to play your existing cassette tape collection through the Jensen RV Stereo # JWM70A in your new RV but Jensen does not offer anything in particular that's designed specifically for this system.

If you have a collection of tapes there's a good chance you still have a portable tape player (Walkman). If this is the case then you can use the Aux port on the face of the stereo to play all your favorite tapes. You will just need an aux cord that connects to the headphone jack of the Walkman and then goes to the auxiliary port on the stereo. Playing the tapes on the Walkman will then be heard through your RV's speakers.

Your other option is to simply digitize your tape collection so they can either be copied to CDs that you can insert into the stereo or even to your smart phone that can be connected to the stereo via Bluetooth.
