I took a look at the owner's manual for the 2017 Ford Fusion Energi 2.0L and the Fusion Energi can either be flat towed with all four wheels on the ground in neutral or with all four wheels off the ground with a vehicle transport trailer. It is not recommended to use a tow dolly where the back two wheels or front two wheels are off the ground like part # DM9713045. The owner's manual points out these guidelines are designed to ensure that your transmission is not damaged.
If you decide to flat tow the Ford Fusion Energi I have listed the parts that you will need:
Roadmaster Base plate- part # RM-524458-4
Roadmaster Falcon All Terrain tow bar- part # RM-522
Roadmaster safety cables- part # RM-643
Roadmaster wiring kit- part # RM-15267
Roadmaster Invsibrake Supplemental braking system- part # RM-8700
Roadmaster Relay- Part # RM-88400
You will most likely need a high-low adapter to tow the vehicle level with the motor home. To find out how much of a rise or drop you may need, you want to measure from the motor homes hitch receiver to the ground. Then measure from the middle of vehicle's front bumper to the ground. The difference between the two measurements is how much rise or drop you will need. You want to be within 2 inches of level with the motor home to tow the Fusion safely. I have attached a link with the high-low adapters we carry.
