Is There a 2 Inch Trailer Hitch Option for a 2009 Infinity G37x
Question:
How come you offer only the 1 1/4 hitch assembly for 2009 G37x.? Is there a way I can get a 2 inch hitch for that car?

Your 2009 Infinity G37x only has the 1-1/4 inch trailer hitch option from our manufacturers due to the restricted capacity of your vehicle. I recommend using the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class I - 1-1/4" # C11499 and have attached a video of the installation to assist. The only way to get 2 inch accessories to work on this hitch is to use the hitch adapter # HTAD or # HT5R.
The use of an adapter like this will reduce the tongue weight rating of your hitch (200 lbs) by 50%. That will leave your max carrying capacity at 100 lbs including the weight of the accessory you use. This is really not recommended on a class I hitch.
