Can I install AC for my 2007 Fleetwood Highlander Avalon? There is no vent or anything else in the roof now.

Expert Reply:
Yes, you can install an air conditioning unit on your 2007 Fleetwood Highlander Avalon. However, you will need to cut a 14" x 14" hole in the roof and you will need to route the power and ground wires to your breaker.
I recommend the Advent Air RV Air Conditioner w/ Ceiling Vent and Start Capacitor part # ACM135C because it has a start capacitor so it won't take as much power to start and it is self contained which means you don't have to run wires to a wall switch or anything like that. It will come with everything you need for installation save for the supply line to your power source.
