Replacement for Drive Stereo with Limited Bluetooth and Remote Range

Question:

What is the range of the Bluetooth and is the remote line of sight IR or RF? My current radio in my camper that came from the factory Drive VDO-1047BT has a 3ft range on the Bluetooth and the remote is line of sight which means the phone stays inside and I have to get up and walk inside to control anything on the radio makes it useless. Im looking for a unit that can help address these issues.

The Furrion RV Stereo - Single DIN - AUX/USB, Bluetooth - 180W - 12V # DV5700 has a Bluetooth range of 15-30 feet and a remote that is RF but most likely won't let you control it from outside according to my contact at Furrion.

You may want to consider the Jensen RV Stereo - Single DIN - AUX/USB, Bluetooth, jControl - 12V # JWM70A which will give you the app control

The Furrion Stereo # DV5700 is actually a single zone unit - we are currently updating the product page. I'm really sorry for the confusion. For a similar stereo that does have a 2-zone setup, I recommend the Furrion # DV3300SBL instead.
