Installation of Truck Cap LED Light on 2016 Ford F-150
Question:
Cap led light. Any idea of if there is a wire below for this year of truck. 2016 f150.

There is not a wire for your truck bed cap under the bed of your truck. The brown wire at pin 13 of your Body Control Module connector C2280E is your STOP/CHMSL wire you would tap into for the cap brake light. This BCM is located under the passenger side of the dash behind the kick panel and below the glove box. I recommend using # 16-1-1 and Quick Splice Connector # SWC501746-1. Then use butt connectors # DW05744-5 for the light connection.
For your light ground connection, you can use any existing ground connection on your truck. Most people will choose to use one behind the tail light.
