Are Safety Chains Needed with Lock N Roll Articulating Hitch
Question:
With my old ball hitch I had to attach safety chains when towing on public streets and highways, with the lock and roll hitch there doesnt seem to be anywhere to connect a chain to. Is it Necessary to attach a chain with this system?

You absolutely still need to have safety chains hooked up whenever you tow a trailer, regardless of what type of hitch ball or ball mount you are using. With the Lock N Roll Articulating Hitch # 336VS503515 that you referenced and really any ball mount, the safety chains will attach to the safety chain loops on the trailer hitch itself and not to the ball mount or hitch ball.
You will want to cross the chains under the coupler and ball mount and hook them up to each safety chain loop. I have attached an image to assist.
