Trailer Hitch Options for a 2019 Heartland Bighorn To Use with Cargo Carrrier
Question:
i would like to add cargo to the rear of the 5th wheel using a 2 inch receiver. I need a bolt on rear hitch that will bolt on to the frame so that i can use the 2 inch receiver cargo carrier. Need the model number for your hitch.

I do have an option for you but I guess that would depend on what you consider to be a bolt-on option. There are not any pre-drilled holes in the rear frame on your 2019 Heartland Bighorn so there is not a trailer hitch available that simply bolts on unless you have a 4" x 4" bumper in which case you can just use the Curt RV Bumper 2" Trailer Hitch Receiver part # E-100.
If you want to install a frame mounted trailer hitch then you would need to either drill or weld it to the frame as there would be no other options. For this, I recommend using the Adjustable Width Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 13703. For a cargo carrier to then use with either of the above options you would want a fixed one like the 24x60 Reese Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches part # 63153 because this will then be able to hold up to the stress of hitch mounted accessories on a trailer.
