Parts Needed to Install Brake Controller in 2012 Pleasureway Excel
Question:
I have a 2012 Pleasureway Excel on an E-350. It did not come with the tow package. I put the hitch on it I bought from you. Now its time to do the electrical. I do not see any hitch wiring at all. Pleasureway moved the stock lights to a fiberglass cap corners. I do not see any pigtailsinch or other telltale signs of trailer wiring underneath. From Pleasureways description, the make up to the Ford harness for this application midway up the chassis. I want a 7 pin because I may have the occasion to tow a trailer with brakes. So, since this didnt come equipped with a factory tow harness: 1. What wiring kit do you recommend? 2. I have a Tekonsha brake controller from a previous vehicle. Do you think this van has a factory place to plug it in?

We can help you hardwire in trailer wiring and a brake controller to your 2012 Pleasureway Excel on a E-350 chassis but if you are wanting something that plugs into factory wiring only Pleasureway would have info on that. You'd have to install a 4-way first with the part # HM48925 and then convert to a 7-way with the part # ETBC7 so that you could install a brake controller like the Prodigy P3 part # 90195 that you mentioned or the current Tekonsha controller you have.
