Tekonsha Trailer Brake Controller Installation in 2016 Ford F-350 Cab and Chassis
Question:
Would this plug into the wiring of the factory brake controller? Meaning unplug the factory brake controller and plug this new connector in that plug? Or is there a separate plug?

Expert Reply:
Brake controller wiring adapter # 3034-P is the correct one to use to install a Tekonsha/Draw-Tite aftermarket trailer brake controller like the P3 # 90195 in your 2016 Ford F-350 cab and chassis. This adapter has a black connector on one end that plugs in to the controller itself and the other end has a grey connector that plugs in to the port under behind the dash panel for the factory unit. You can see this process in the linked video at the 4:35 mark.
