How to Determine if a Swagman XC Bike Rack would Clear the Spare Tire of a 2005 Honda CR-V

Is it possible to use a Swagman xc bike rack with a 2005 Honda CRV? The spare tire cover is a formed plastic cover. Is there enough room to clear that cover?

In order to determine if you could install a Swagman XC Bike Rack on your 2005 Honda CR-V you will need to take one important measurement. You will need to measure from the center of the hitch pin of your hitch out to the furthest portion of the spare tire cover. If that measurement is less than 10-1/2 inches then you could use the # S64650.

The # S64650 measures 10-1/2 inches from the center of the hitch pin out to the nearest upright bar of the rack, so as long as you the measurement you took shows that you have clearance this rack would work for you.
