Have you tried testing the 4-Way connector of the (discontinued) T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness 118765 on your 2018 Volkswagen Tiguan? If you use a circuit tester # PTW2993 or a multimeter # PTW1714 on the T-One 4-Way, you can determine if the issue is on your vehicle side or trailer side.
If on the vehicle side, try testing the wiring on the vehicle side of the ModuLite. If power is getting to the ModuLite but not coming out then the ModuLite is bad, and you need to replace the entire wiring kit. If for some reason you aren't getting power to the ModuLite then there is something going on with the wiring on your vehicle and you may need to take it in to a shop.
For the trailer side you will need to check that the connector is clean and free of debris. After this move on to making sure your wiring is in good working order and that all of your grounds are securely connected to a clean bare-metal surface.
If you follow these steps, you should find where you are having problems and be able to fix it. Attached is a helpful article on wiring troubleshooting that you can reference as well.
Let me know if you are still having problems and I can help you troubleshoot further.
