The Jensen RV Stereo part # JWM60A is a great replacement for the Jensen Stereo AWM970. I compared the installation instructions of both stereos and they use the same 9" wide x 6" tall cut out for installation. The wiring harness is not the same because the JWM60A has more wires for new features.
The old wiring harness needs to be cut off and the new wiring harness wired in. According to Jensen the only real difference between the two stereos is the wiring and the JWM60A does not play audio from Blu-ray discs.
