Removing Broken Lippert Electric Stabilizer jacks
Question:
My Lippert electric stabilizer jacks are extended out and will not retract. The electric motor has power, as when you push the button, the motor starts. The jacks are located on the rear, I lowered the front of the trailer so the rear jacks are just off of the ground. Tried to manually raise the jacks and broke off the t bar that the tool connects too. How do I get the jacks up now with the manual bar broken and the electric motor unable to raise or lower. The spindle looks to be well lubricated. I need to move my trailer and can’t while the jacks are in this position.

If your Lippert electric stabilizer jacks will not operate via their motors or via the manual crank (which is now broken) I am afraid the only option to let you move the trailer is to remove the damaged rear stabilizer jacks.
You will need some method of safely stabilizing the rear of the trailer so that you can unbolt the damaged jack(s) and move the trailer. I understand that your rear jacks are off the ground already but for your safety I urge you to use stands like # UF48-979003 any time you will be under the rear of the trailer. These manual stabilizers can support up to 6000-lbs and they give you 17-inches of lift.
Since your stabilizer motor functions and because the jacks would not raise even with manual cranking this tends to suggest that the problem is purely mechanical and is likely to be within the gearbox of the jack or elsewhere in the linkage that extends to support the trailer.
