What is Best Slider Fifth Wheel Hitch to fit Truck with B and W Turnoverball Gooseneck Hitch
Question:
Do you sell any other hitches similar to the following. BandW Companion 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ Slider - Dual Jaw - 20,000 lbs Item # BWRVK3400-5W I dont really need a 20,000 lb. Could use a 15,000 lb. Like the companion for the hide a ball in my 2017 Silverado 2500 and the slider aspect but was wondering if there are other options. Other brands.

The fifth wheel hitch adapters we offer for a gooseneck hitch really depend on the gooseneck hitch installed in the truck. If you have a B and W Turnoverball gooseneck hitch installed in your short bed truck the best solution is the B and W Companion slider part # BWRVK3400-5W. It may have more capacity than needed but it will give you a very reliable and easy to use hitch that will give you a smoother ride quality than nearly all other hitches due to how tightly this hitch holds the king pin.
If you really wanted to use a different hitch in a B and W gooseneck hitch it's possible with the X5 adapter part # 16310 but you'll end up spending more since this adapter isn't exactly cheap and similar quality hitches aren't cheap either.
If you have a different brand gooseneck hitch let me know and I'll see what the best setup would be.
