How To Tow a 5th Wheel Trailer Using the B&W Turnoverball on a 2003 Ford F-150 Short Bed
Question:
if I use a gooseneck hitch on my truck SHORT BED, can I pull a 5th wheel trailer? I then do not need a sliding 5th wheel hitch? And thanks for an advise

I would love to help but I am a little confused by your question as you would not be able to use a gooseneck hitch to pull a 5th wheel trailer unless you have an adapter. However, this would only work if the gooseneck hitch you have is the B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch part # BWGNRK1197 and the adapter you have is the B&W Companion Slider Gooseneck-to-5th-Wheel Trailer Hitch Adapter part # BWRVK3400 because it creates additional turning clearance. The B&W Companion Gooseneck-to-5th-Wheel Trailer Hitch Adapter part # BWRVK3500 will not work for you as it would not allow for additional turning clearance.
In short, using a gooseneck hitch with a gooseneck to 5th wheel adapter will not increase your turning clearance. If this is not what you are referring to then please clarify this for me that way I can better assist you.
