Thin Walled Socket Recommendation for Installing Hitch Ball E2 Fastway Weight Distribution System

Question:

At my job, alot of techs get sockets that dont fit around the nut on the ball. This is due to the round sockets on the hitch head, that are for the bars to be inserted, are obstructing the sockets so it wont go around the backside of the nut. I have no doubt this socket will work on equalizer, e4, and reunions. Just dont want to be buying a fourth socket that wont fit. Thank you for your time.

Expert Reply:

To install the hitch ball on an Equal-i-Zer weight distribution system you do need to use a thin-walled socket. For that we have the part # ALL643216 that you referenced which we know works well for this. It also fits the Fastway E2 kits like I think you have as well. We added this socket to our website for your exact scenario.
