The pole tongue adapter that I recommend using with an Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution (WD) system like part # EQ37120ET is the Adapter # EQ95-01-5950. This was made specifically by Equal-i-zer for their WD systems and can be used for applications up to 14,000 lb towing/1,400 lbs tongue trailers that do not have swing-away couplers.
Please note that when choosing a WD system you want to use one with a Tongue Weight (TW) range that the Total Tongue Weight (TTW) of your towing setup falls in the middle of. To find the TTW of your towing setup you will need to add the TW of your fully loaded and ready-to-go trailer, which you can use part # e99044 for, along with the weight of any cargo behind the rear axle of your tow vehicle. Keep in mind that a properly loaded trailer will have a TW that is 10-15% of the loaded weight of your trailer.
As long as your TTW falls in the middle of the 800 lbs - 1,200 lbs TW range of this system then it is correct for your application.
