I do have a great option for you, however the Curt X5 5th Wheel Base Rails Adapter # 16310 is not compatible with the Demco Hijacker Autoslide Hitch # DM8550034 that you referenced. There is actually not a base rail adapter for the B&W Gooseneck Hitch available that will work well with an auto-sliding hitch.
These types of hitches simply put too much torque onto the adapter rails when they are sliding which leads to an unsafe setup.
If you have a B&W Gooseneck Hitch installed on your truck the best option for a sliding 5th wheel hitch is with the B&W Companion Slider # BWRVK3400. This particular hitch is designed to mount right into the gooseneck ball hole you already have without the need for a separate adapter. The hitch itself features 1 inch thick dual jaws for a really secure connection with the trailer that allows for a much smoother ride. It has a 20,000 pound towing weight capacity and is made right here in the USA. Many consider the Companion line of hitches to be the best on the market because of their incredibly heavy-duty construction.
