Installing Roadmaster Flexo-Coil Wiring on a 2019 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon JL
Question:
Is the wiring for a 2019 Rubicon JL with LED tail lights the same as shown for the 2017 using the RM15267 system? I just purchased the new Jeep and have previously wired a 2015 JK with the diodes but the new wiring harness is mush more complicated.

According to my research you can use the Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267 for your 2019 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon but I don't believe you will connect to the same color wires as shown in the linked video for this kit on a 2017 Wrangler Unlimited.
From what I could find I believe that the running light should be a white and gray wire on your driver's side but a white and orange wire on the passenger side. The stop/turn signals should be found on the yellow wire for the driver's side and the green wire for the passenger side. I highly recommend using a circuit tester like part # PTW2991 to verify this though. This is actually fairly simple as all you need to do is disconnect the physical tail light and then test the pins in the connector to see which wires carry which signals. You can see this done in the attached installation video on a 2018 Jeep Wrangler JK.
Please note that you will also need the Roadmaster Brake Light Switch Kit # RM-751490 to keep your tail lights operating properly when you use your supplemental braking system.
For a complete flat towing setup you will need a base plate kit, tow bar, safety cables, vehicle tow bar wiring, a supplemental braking system, and possibly a high-low adapter. If you do not have all of these components just let me know and I can make some additional recommendations for you.
