How to Protect Flat Towed Vehicles Windshield/Paint
Question:
I use the Demo Excalibar II system on my Jeep Wrangler. Am thinking of using the Roadmaster 4750 Tow Defender instead of (not in addition to…) the DM9523135. What do you think of that arrangement?

We have great products designed for exactly what you are looking for, but the Hopkins part # HM17529 that you referenced is only designed for snow and ice so it may not prevent damage from debris.
Instead you'd need something like the Roadmaster Guardian Rock Guard part # RM-4000 which is designed to attach to a Roadmaster flat towing setup. If you could get back to me with the brand of flat towing setup you have I can check to see what the best solution would be for you. For example, if you have a Blue Ox setup we have the KarGard part # BX8870 or if you have a Demco we have the Sentry Deflector part # DM9523135.
