The cable that comes on the Demco Hydraulic Trailer Brake Actuator # DM72VR is the breakaway kit. Since this is intended to activate the brakes on your trailer in the event that the trailer becomes uncoupled you will want to attached the clip at the end of the cable to one of the safety chain loops on your trailer hitch.
