Rear View Safety Monitor Compatibility with Velvac Cameras Already Factory Installed
Question:
is this monitor compatible with the velvac mirror cameras on my motorhome . if not ,what cables would I need to convert? they are model 2025 . the documentation is very poor as is their website . they do not want owners to do their own repair.. side cameras do not shift correctly with turn signals bad idea to start with. I would like to remove all cameras from center screen , and choose what view to see.

Expert Reply:
The Rear View Safety Color Monitor - 9" LCD Digital Screen # RVS-6139N is not directly compatible with the Velvac mirror cameras. However, when you use the Rear View Safety Splice Kit # RVS-SPK01 they can be compatible according to my tech contact at RVS. This would give you the monitor view you desire utilizing your current cameras. The 4 pin to 5 pin conversion should be easy.
