Can the B&W Companion Flatbed Be Used With a Short Wheel Base Truck

Will this product fit work on a 2015 chevy Silverado 2500 with 66inch bed.

For starters, I will assume you have a flatbed as that is what the product you are inquiring about is designed for. With that being said, the B&W Companion Flatbed Gooseneck-to-5th-Wheel Trailer Hitch Adapter part # BWRVK3050 is not a good option for you if you have a short wheel base because the cab of the vehicle and loft of the trailer will likely come into contact with one another during sharp turns.
Instead, I recommend you use the Reese Low-Profile 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch part # RP30054 along with a rotating pin box like the Sidewinder 5th Wheel King Pin with Rotating Turret part # RP34FR. This setup will allow for full 90 degree turns using a flatbed truck with a short wheelbase. If you ever then needed to tow a gooseneck trailer you could install something like the Gooseneck to 5th Wheel Trailer Coupler Adapter part # KPG5-R25-IP on the trailer in order to do so.
Please note the Sidewinder 5th Wheel King Pin with Rotating Turret is designed for a Lippert 1621 wing set, if you have a different wing set please just let me know.
