Fifth Wheel Rail Kit and Retractable Tonneau Cover Recommendation for 2014 Ram 3500
Question:
Just bought a 2014 Ram 3500 Mega Cab Laramie 6.7 Cummins 4x4. Have an 06 HUSKY 16 KS that came out of my old 06 Mega Cab. The note says do not use with a bed shorter than 66. Mine I think is 64inch but have not had any issues turning. I dont turn 90-degrees, I will move sites as I pull a 35foot 2017 Reflection 303RLS by Grand Design. Not sure how heavy the A16 Curt is to remove in winter. I would stay with the HUSKY, I like it but heavy. I dont want to spend $$$ on a Superglide Slideder. We are retired and have traveled and continue to. Thanks for any help. Got a question...ask. Oh! I have had and am buying another tonneau cover. same kind. I like the Jack Rabbit JRC 3250 by Pace-Edwards. I believe most covers cover.

Slider hitches in general are pretty heavy. The Curt A16 Slider part # C16521 that you referenced weighs 194 lbs which is relatively light for a slider hitch as most are over 200 easily. For a rail kit to install this hitch in your 2014 Ram 3500 (or your Husky hitch) a custom install kit is the way to go as it will install easier and minimize drilling. For that I'd recommend the # C16430-204 and you'd be set. I attached an install video link for this for you to check out as well. If instead you have the factory rail kit (pucks in the bed of the truck) you'd want a rail kit adapter part # RP30154.
The JackRabbit by Pace Edwards is a really great tonneau. The correct part number for your truck is the part # 311-JED7833.
