Troubleshooting RVS Mirror with Monitor for Dodge Vehicles RVS-718-DODGE
Question:
I purchased an RSV G-Series backup mirror form you guys, and then had to get the matching camera from RSV. All for my 2016 Dodge Journey. Ive installed them but can only get the monitor to flash on and off. Im hooked into the back up light trigger wire and, as far as I can see, have everything connected properly. Im only getting 10v from the trigger wire. Wondering what I should do next?

The wiring connections for the Rear View Safety Rear View Mirror with Monitor for Dodge Vehicles # RVS-718-DODGE include the GREEN trigger wire connecting to the reverse light circuit and the RED 12V power wire to an ignition-controller power source, such as the power antenna circuit which operates when the key is turned on. The BLACK wire is ground and connects to a clean bare metal spot on the chassis.
If you have made each of these wiring connections and confirmed that all are solidly attached you can do a few other things to troubleshoot.
First, try a hard reset. This requires unplugging all cables and power cables for at least 1 minute.
After waiting this period re-connect everything. Make sure the camera cable is pugged in to the input AV2.
I also linked the operating manual with troubleshooting section to which you can refer.
