Operation of the Double-Panel On/Off Switch AT91230
Question:
Hello, a newbie here with this w/heating system. Not much of a walk-thru on purchase. We came from a manual light Jayco with the flame always on while TT was being used. Do not really understand the operation ? Our purchase is a 2014 Passport 2200rbwe. Also propane tanks what is expiration on those ? Thank you, any info would be much appreciated !

The Double-Panel On/Off Switch # AT91230 on your 2014 Passport takes all of the work out of using your water heater. You used to have to light the system manually where now you simply have to flip either switch whether you are going to use electric or propane.
When it comes to the life of your propane, it is good for 12 years after the manufacture date. After that you will need to get it inspected and certified to use and then inspected every 5 years after that. Since most people swap out their propane tanks when they are empty though this typically isn't an issue.

So would you ever have both propane and electric on at the same time or just one or the other? Also is there an AC system that can run on propane? Thanks.
