Are Safety Chains Required when Using B and W Fifth Wheel Hitch for Ram Towing Package
Question:
Safety chains, bandw 3600 on a RAM 3500 with car hauler. Do I need safety chains? Just installed the 5 th wheel

Safety chain laws are interesting. Gooseneck trailer towing setups do call for using safety chains but since there isn't a hitch ball involved with fifth wheel towing they are not required. So with the B&W Companion OEM 5th Wheel Hitch # BWRVK3600 that you referenced you would not need to use safety chains.
