Is the CargoSmart Fire Extinguisher for E-Track Strong Enough for Vehicle Use?
Question:
Is this strong enough for use in the bed of my F150? Connected to one of Fords Box Link connectors. With the connector at the top, it seems like there would be a lot of twisting leverage in the event of a sudden stop or collision.

The CargoSmart Fire Extinguisher Holder for E-Track or X-Track Systems # 3481732 is strong enough for your truck bed. You are correct that the torque is on the top of the unit, and that is why there is the clip as well as the outer arms for the additional strength and support. It is rated to safely support up to 50 lbs and has the strap adjustment to ensure a safe fit in the events you referenced.
The movement if this were in a trailer is most likely greater than using in a truck so it will be strong enough for your application.
