Question:
I have a 2008 fx4 f150. Just put air bag suspension on fire stone. Planning on hauling a 7555pd skidsteer. Not including trailer weight. Not sure how much psi should I run? Wats the max psi for the bags? And wat is correct psi for wen not towing anything ?

Expert Reply:
The recommended pressure you'll need from the Firestone air bag kit part # F2071 will be the amount that allows the truck to sit level. The max pressure rating is 100 psi so you'll need to stay under that. When not towing you want to keep at least 5 psi in the bags at all times to prevent the bags from deforming and damaging themselves.
For an easy way to inflate and maintain the bags you can use a compressor kit like the part # F2097. It gives you a gauge you mount in the cab of your truck that allows you to add or remove air pressure.
